3.4 Installation in a Multi Node Cluster
The installation of the cluster resource is proceeded in the same way as the previously de-
scribed installation.

For an installation on a multi node cluster the steps previously described have to be procee-

on all active nodes in order to create all cluster resources. For example in a 3-1 clu-
ster (3 active and 1 passive node) 3 cluster resources have to be created for the three active
nodes in the group “AntiVir Exchange”. The allowed nodes are respectively the active node
and the passive node which can overtake its role. The AntiVir setup has to be proceeded also
on the passive nodes.

3.5 Upgrade of a Version 6.0 or less to a Version up from 6.1
In case of an upgrade from a version 6.0 or less it is not possible to get to a new
resource DLL from an old cluster configuration.

In order to proceed the upgrade, please, execute the following steps:
1. Stop the SMTP service and set the AntiVir cluster resource offline.
2. Copy the file
ConfigData.xml from the cluster resource drive to each cluster node.
3. Delete the cluster resource.
4. Change the path information of the registry values “Data”, “Config” and “InQ” to the
original path of the system partition (see point 7 on page 10: here from drive N to drive C).
5. Uninstall AntiVir Exchange on the cluster node.
