The effectiveness of antivirus software depends entirely on the scanning engine and the
virus definitions being up to date. For this reason, you should regularly download
updates for Avira SharePoint from our download servers. To enable regular updates to be
carried out, the AntiVir SharePoint Updater component is integrated in AntiVir
