Exporting an Image Palette
You can save the changes you make in the Palette Manager and export those
changes for use with other images.
 (page 314) dialog box allows you to create a palette file (*.pf)
with a title and to save that palette file to a local, network, or Internet location.
To export a saved palette
Click Image menu  ➤  Image Processing  ➤  Palette Manager.
 (page 348) dialog box is displayed.
To display the 
 (page 314) dialog box, click Palette
menu ➤ Export.
In the Files Of Type box, choose the desired file format for the new image.
There are two methods you can use to navigate to a new location to which
to export the palette file:
NOTE The default file extension for Raster Design palette files is .pf. However,
you can specify another file extension if you wish.
Select the drive and folder using standard Windows navigation
procedures.
Select a location from the Places List on the left side of the dialog box
to navigate directly to the My Documents folder (or the Personal
folder, depending on which operating system you are using), the
Desktop, or the Favorites folder.
In the File Name box, enter a name for the palette file or choose a file
name from the list.
In the Palette Title box, enter a title for the palette file. This name is
displayed in the preview window when a palette file is imported.
Click Save to export the palette file and return to the Palette Manager
dialog box.
