7. Turn On Power to the System
1. If you have the optional UPS, set the Power switch on the front panel of the UPS
to the ON position. The green AC Output light should be on. If any of the other
UPS front panel lights are on, refer to the UPS manual for appropriate action.

2. Turn on the system console or graphics monitor.
3. Set the Power switch on the front panel of the R Class server to the ON position.
The green light inside the switch should come on.
