A new Photo Effect mode 

supports all your creative impulses

with 5 options: Low Sharpening to

reduce edge emphasis, Vivid Color

to highlight contrast and definition,

Neutral for a subdued shot, Sepia

for an instant historical feel, and

true, sharp-contrast Black & White.

These modes can even be applied

to your movie clips. 

More modes include Stitch Assist

for lining up panoramas like a pro;

Landscape to give your scenery

shots breadth and grandeur; Slow-

sync to light nighttime conditions

with ease, and Macro for incredibly

life-like detail in your close-ups.    

Personalize your camera by cus-

tomizing the start-up menu and the

sounds it makes for start-up, shutter,

self-timer and other operations with

a fun new My Camera function.

The Intelligent Orientation

Sensor automatically detects

whether the pictures you’ve taken

are vertically oriented, properly

rotates them for playback, and

adjusts AF, AE, and white balance

accordingly.

Keep memories fresh by adding

a voice memo up to 60 seconds

long to any image while viewing it

in playback mode. Leave yourself

creative notes or clue future gene-

rations in on who’s in the picture

and where it was taken, all in a

format that never fades.  

And now you can correct a com-

mon photo-spoiler before it even

happens, with automatic Red-Eye

Reduction built right into the 5-

mode flash.
