Registering Bluetooth devices
Up to 16 Bluetooth devices can be registered with this unit. When registering devices,
consult the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth device. When you try to
register the 17th device, you must clear all of the previous registrations.
(1) Before registering, be sure to set the POWER ON/OFF switch to OFF.
(2) Remove the battery cover.
(3) Set the BONDING/NORMAL switch to BONDING.
(4) Set the POWER ON/OFF switch to ON.
The POWER lamp (green) lights up, and the   lamp (blue) lights up.
(5) Turn on the Bluetooth device, then input the serial number (pass key) which is
indicated on the label on the rear of the unit.
For details on inputting this information, refer to the operating instructions of
the Bluetooth device.

Tip
The pass key is an identification number needed to allow two Bluetooth
devices to communicate with each other. This “Pass key” is also referred to as
a “Bluetooth pass key,” “pass key,” “PIN,” “Bluetooth PIN,” etc.
(6) Set the POWER ON/OFF switch to OFF.
(7) Set the BONDING/NORMAL switch to NORMAL.
Note
Be sure to set it to NORMAL. If you use the unit with the switch in the
BONDING position, the communication will be picked up by other devices.
(8) Replace the cover.
(9) Set the POWER ON/OFF switch to ON.
The registration is completed.
