Setting the clock
The clock has a 12-hour digital indication.
Example: To set the clock to 10:08

Press (DSPL) during operation.
If the POWER SELECT function is set to
“ON,” go to step 2. If it is set to “OFF,” set
to “ON” (page 10).

Press (DSPL) for two seconds.
The hour indication flashes.
Set the hour.
2 Press (SOUND).
The minute indication flashes.
3 Set the minute.

Press (DSPL).
The clock starts.
Note
If the car has no accessory position on the ignition
key switch, the clock cannot be set unless the
power is turned on. Set the clock after you have
turned on the radio, or started CD playback.

Listening to a CD
Insert the CD.
Playback starts automatically.
If a CD is already inserted, press (SOURCE)
repeatedly until “CD” appears.
Note
To play back an 8 cm CD, use the optional Sony
compact disc single adapter (CSA-8).

Changing the display item
Each time you press (DSPL) during CD
playback, the item changes as follows:

 Elapsed playing time

Clock Z
All the above items are scrolled in the display
one by one in order.
