Viewing CD TEXT information
You can view text information contained on a CD
TEXT disc during playback.
Selecting the disc name display
When playing CD TEXT discs that have been labeled using
the Disc Memo function (see page 25), you can specify that
disc names be displayed whenever you press DSPL or
LIST.

While playing a CD, press MENU.

Select “Name,” press / to move to the sub
menu, then select “Disc Name” by pressing >
or ..

Press / then  > or . to select “D.Memo” or
“TEXT,” then ENTER.
The selected mode appears to the right of “Disc
Name” in the display.

Press MENU.
The normal display appears.
What is a CD TEXT disc?
A CD TEXT disc is a music CD that also contains text data
such as the disc name, artist name, and track name. This
text data is recorded in areas normally unused on
conventional music CDs.

Displays original CD TEXT information.
