• EQ7 Tune (page 27) — to adjust the equalizer

curve.

• HPF (High pass filter) — to select the cut-off

frequency to “78Hz,” “125Hz” or “off.”

• LPF (Low pass filter) — to select the cut-off

frequency to “78Hz,” “125Hz” or “off.”

• Loudness — to enjoy bass and treble even at

low volumes. The bass and treble will be
reinforced.

• AUX Level (page 29) — to adjust the volume

level of connected auxiliary equipment.

Receive Mode

• AF on/off (Alternative frequencies) (page 19)
• Local on/off (Local seek mode) (page 17)

– Select “on” to only tune into stations with

stronger signals.

• Mono on/off (Monaural mode) (page 17)

– Select “on” to hear FM stereo broadcast in

monaural.

– Select “off” to return to normal mode.

• Regional on/off (page 20)

repeatedly until the

desired item appears.

Press

to select the desired

setting (Example: “on” or “off”).

Press

(ENTER)

After the mode setting is complete, the
display returns to normal play mode.

Tip
You can easily switch among categories by pressing

for 2 seconds.

Setting the equalizer (EQ7)

You can select an equalizer curve for 7 music
types (Xplod, VOCAL, CLUB, JAZZ,
NEWAGE, ROCK, CUSTOM), and OFF
(equalizer off).
You can store and adjust the equalizer settings
for frequency and level.
You can store the EQ7 setting for each source.

Selecting the equalizer curve

Press

(SOURCE)

to select a desired

source.

Press

(EQ7)

repeatedly to select a

desired equalizer curve.

Each time you press (EQ7), the item
changes.

To cancel the equalizing effect, select “OFF.”
After 3 seconds, the display returns to the
normal play mode.
