To remove the CD

Remove the CD player from the speaker 
stand. Then remove the CD while pressing the 
pivot in the center of the tray.

To listen to the CD using the headphones 

connected to the CD player

In step 4 of “Listening to the CD using the 
speaker stand” ( page 16), set the 



switch on the stand to

To use the speaker stand without using the 

AC power adaptor

1  Insert the battery according to the 

procedure described in “When using a dry 
battery” ( page 12).

2  Set the 

/OFF•POWER ON switch on 

the stand to 

/OFF.

3  Set the 



/  switch on the stand to  .

4  Press 



/ENTER on the player.

•  You cannot change the CDs when the CD player is 

connected to the speaker stand.

•  Close the lid of the CD player securely, then insert 

the player into the speaker stand.

•  When you carry the speaker stand with the CD 

player connected, hold both the stand and the 
player securely.

•  When you play the CD while it is connected to the 

speaker stand, the volume setting is restored to the 
default.

•  When you use the speaker stand without the AC 

power adaptor, the sound volume level output from 
the speakers becomes lower because the sound is 
output without passing through the amplifier of the 
stand.
