Using the Remote
You can control the system using the supplied remote. The remote control of this system
employs a solar panel for indoor use that can get enough battery from normal lighting in the
room. To avoid excessive battery consumption, make sure that the remote is always placed in a
brightly lit place facing up. This way, the battery will remain charged.
When using the remote, point it at the remote sensor   on the control unit.
Notes
• Do not leave the remote in an extremely hot or humid place.
• Do not expose the remote sensor to direct light from the sun or lighting apparatus. Doing so may cause a
malfunction.
• Do not expose the solar panel of the remote to direct sunlight as it may be damaged.
• If the remote is placed with its rear side up, or left in a dark place for long periods, battery charging will not
occur and further use will lead to battery discharge (the remote becomes unusable).
• Placing objects on the remote may results in buttons being pressed for long periods and shortened battery life.
• As the battery runs out, the operating range of the remote becomes shorter.
z
Should the battery become exhausted, charge it by placing the remote in a brightly lit room, more than 5 days.
Charging time will vary depending on how bright the room is.
z
The battery is fully charged before shipment. So you can use the remote for 340 days (100 times use per day)
without any solar charging.
When the remote does not function even after the solar battery is charged in the light of the
room.
Press the RESET button on the upper rear side of the remote using a pointed object such as the tip of a mechanical
pencil as shown below.
