Writing speed supported by the drive. Depending on your software and media, this speed 
may vary.
For more details on writing speed by disc type, access the user support web site (see 
page 34).

• Only round discs should be used with this drive. Attempting to read odd-shaped discs 

(stars, hearts, card shape, etc.) may damage the drive.

• Operation is not guaranteed when writing to or playing back 99 minute discs.
• With 8 cm discs, you must place the drive horizontally.
• When using a double-sided disc, orient the drive horizontally.
