the default settings are changed.

T. TONE OFF: The test tone is 
not emitted from the speakers.

T. TONE ON: The test tone is 
emitted from both left and 
right speakers simultaneously 
while adjusting balance. When 
you select one of the 
“LEVEL” items, the test tone 
is emitted from each speaker in 
sequence.

Adjusts the balance between 
the front left and right 
speakers. (You can adjust from 
the center 6 steps left (L6) or 
right (R6).)

Adjusts the level of the center 
speaker (–6 dB to +6 dB, 1 dB 
increments).

Adjusts the left level of the 
surround speaker (–6 dB to +6 
dB, 1 dB increments).

Adjusts the right level of the 
surround speaker (–6 dB to +6 
dB, 1 dB increments).

Adjusts the level of the 
surround back speaker (–10 
dB to +10 dB, 1 dB 
increments).

Adjusts the level of the 
subwoofer (–6 dB to +6 dB, 1 
dB increments).

DRC OFF: No compression of 
DYNAMIC range.

DRC ON: Reproduces the 
sound track with the kind of 
DYNAMIC range that the 
recording engineer intended.
