ちがった使いかたをすると、火災などにより人身事故になること

取扱説明書では、次のような表示をしています。表示の内容

をよく理解してから本文をお読みください。

製品および同梱物を、幼児・子供の手の届く範囲に

放置しないでください。

幼児の手の届かない場所に置き、口に入れないよう注意

する。万一、飲み込んだ場合は、ただちに医師に相談し

てください。

落下や損傷により内部が露出した場合は、すみやか

に電池を抜き、使用を中止してください。

感電や火傷の恐れがあります。また内部に手を触れな

いでください。

万一、使用中に高熱、焦げ臭い、煙が出る等の異常を

感じたら、

 

すみやかに電池を抜き、使用を中止してください。

漏液、発熱、発火、破裂などを避けるため、下記

のことを必ずお守りください。



 

電池の製造後の経過期間により、新しい電池でも電池寿命が本

紙の記載と異なる場合があります。また、長期間の旅行や寒い

ところでは予備の電池をご用意ください。なお低温のために性

能が低下した電池でも、常温に戻せば、性能は回復します。



 

急激な温度変化を与えると内部に水滴を生じる可能性がありま

す。スキー場のような寒い屋外から暖かい室内に持ち込む場合

は、寒い屋外でビニール袋などに入れ、袋の中の空気を絞り出し

て密閉します。その後室内に持ち込み、周囲の温度に充分なじ

ませてから取り出してください。



 

本機は防水構造になっていません。万一、水に濡れた場合は乾

いた布でふき取り、すみやかにソニーデジタル一眼レフカメラ

専用ヘルプデスクにご相談ください。



 

本機を絶対に分解しないでください。故障したときは、必ずソ

ニーデジタル一眼レフカメラ専用ヘルプデスクにご相談くださ

い。



 

本機のお手入れには、柔らかい布で汚れを軽くふき取ってくだ

さい。シンナー、ベンジンなどの有機溶剤を含むクリーナーは

絶対に使用しないでください。



 

直射日光下の車内など極度の高温下や、湿度の高いところに放

置しないでください。



 

感電の原因となることがありますので、ぬれた手でさわらない

でください。



 

ストロボ接続中は、シンクロ端子に触らないようにしてくださ

い。

ご使用になる前に、本機の電池容量が充分かを以下の手順でご確

認ください。

電池容量が充分な場合、

ランプ（緑ランプ）が点灯します。



ランプが点滅する場合は、電池容量が残

り少なくなっていますので、電池の交換をおすすめします。

点灯も点滅もしない場合は、電池を交換してください。



本機は、シンクロコード付きのフラッシュに以下の手順で装着し

ご使用になれます。シンクロ電圧が

60 V

以下のフラッシュでご

使用いただけます。また、フラッシュのシンクロ端子の極性が逆

のタイプでも使用可能です。
本機を使ってフラッシュ撮影をする場合には、カメラを以下の設

定にしてください。



 

露出モードは

M

モードにする。



 

シャッタースピードは

1/125

秒かあるいはフラッシュ側の推奨

する設定値のどちらか遅いほうの値か、その値より低速にして

ください。



 

指定された電池以外は使わないでください。



 

電池の極性（＋

/

−）を逆に入れないでください。



 

電池を火中へ投入したり、充電、ショート、分解、

加熱をしないでください。



 

電池は使い切ってから廃棄してください。また

廃棄するときは、テープなどで接点部を絶縁し

てください。

 

電池容量が残っていたり、他の金属と接触した

りすると、発熱・破裂・発火の恐れがあります。

 

お住いの自治体の規則にしたがって正しく廃棄

するかリサイクルしてください。

もし電池の液が漏れたときは、電池ケース内の漏れた液をよくふ

きとってから、新しい電池を入れてください。万一、液が身体や衣

服についたときは、水でよく洗い流してください。

カスタムホワイトバランスをお使いになる場合、実際に撮影さ

れる照明条件と絞り値に設定し、色の偏りのないグレーの紙や

板などをお使いください。

 

反射率の高い白い紙や板では測定可能な光量を超え、

「カスタム

WB

設定エラー」のメッセージが表示される場合があります。

 このメッセージが表示されたときは、値が想定外であることを

表します（近距離でフラッシュを発光させた場合や、鮮やかな色

の被写体に向けた場合など）。撮影はできますが、より正確なホ

ワイトバランスを得るには、設定し直すことをおすすめします。



 

フラッシュ調光補正はご使用になれません。

 

カメラのアクセサリーシューのキャップをはず

す。

 

本機の

POWER

スイッチを

OFF

にして、本機の

オートロックフットを、カメラ側のオートロック
アクセサリーシューに取り付ける。



 

カチッと音がするまでしっかり差し込みます。

 

シンクロターミナル端子に、外部フラッシュのシ

ンクロコードを差し込む。



 

シンクロコードを本機に接続するときは、シンクロコー

ドにつながれたフラッシュの電源を

OFF

にしてください。

ON

のままだと、コードを接続するときにフラッシュが発光

することがあります。

 

本機の

の方向にスライ

ドさせ、電源を入れる。



 

外部フラッシュを用いてのシンクロフラッシュ撮影が可能

になります。



 

トリガー電圧を極端に低くしてあるフラッシュなど、フ

ラッシュによっては発光しないことがあります。



 

フラッシュの発光に関係なくシャッターボタンを押すたび

に電池は消耗します。

 

使用後は、本機の

POWER

スイッチを

OFF

にし

て取りはずしボタンを押しながら、本機を矢印方
向にスライドさせて取りはずす。



電池室ふたを矢印の方向へスライドさせ、電池室

ふたを取りはずす。



 

本機の電源を

OFF

にした状態で電池を交換してください。

 

マイナスドライバーなど先が平らなものを図のよ

うにすき間に差し込む。
ご注意



 

すき間に差し込む際、つめなどで無理に押さないでくださ

い。けがをする場合があります。



 

すき間よりも幅の広いものを差し込まないでください。本

機が破損する恐れがあります。



 

差し込んだもので電池室内の端子部をこじないでください。

 

図のように軽く指を添えて電池が飛び出さないよ

うにしながら、マイナスドライバーで矢印の方向
に押し出して電池を取り出す。



 

電池が飛び出す場合がありますのでご注意ください。

”が手前に向くようにして、図のように電池を

電池ホルダーのフチに引っ掛けて電池を入れる。

電池室ふたを元どおりに入れ、カチッと音がする

までふたを閉じる。

Before operating the product, please read this manual 

thoroughly and retain it for future reference.

To reduce fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to 

rain or moisture.
When the lithium battery becomes weak, replace the 

battery with a Sony CR1220 lithium battery. Use of another 

battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.
Battery may explode if mistreated. Do not recharge, 

disassemble or dispose of in fire.

Perchlorate Material: Lithium battery contains perchlorate.

This product has been tested and found compliant with the 

limits set out in the EMC Directive for using connection 

cables shorter than 3 meters (9.8 feet).

This symbol on the product or on its 

packaging indicates that this product shall 

not be treated as household waste. Instead 

it shall be handed over to the applicable 

collection point for the recycling of 

electrical and electronic equipment. 

By ensuring this product is disposed of

  Depending on the time elapsed since manufacture 

of the batteries, their life may vary from the values 

described in this operating instructions, even if this unit 

is provided with new batteries. We recommend having 

spare batteries. It should be noted that battery capacity 

decreases as temperatures drop. Allow the battery 

to return to normal room temperature to restore the 

battery to its normal charge.

  Rapid changes in temperature cause condensation to 

form inside this unit. If you bring this unit directly in 

from a cold environment to a warm environment, seal 

the unit in a plastic bag while you are outdoors, and 

try to extract as much air as you can from inside the 

bag. You can remove the unit from the bag when the 

air temperature around the bag has had a chance to 

gradually rise.

  This unit is not waterproof. If it comes in contact with 

water, wipe it dry with a clean cloth and take it to the 

nearest Sony dealer immediately.

  Never attempt to disassemble this unit. Take it to the 

nearest Sony dealer immediately for repair.

  When dirty, this unit may be cleaned with a clean, dry 

cloth. Do not allow this unit to come in contact with 

alcohol or other chemicals.

  Never leave this unit where it may be subjected to 

extreme temperatures, such as the glove compartment 

of a car, or to high humidity.

  Do not touch the unit with wet hands. This may cause 

electric shock.

  Do not touch the sync terminal while connecting to the 

flash.

Before using the battery, ensure that it has sufficient power 

for the following operations.

 If the battery has a sufficient charge, the BATTERY 

CHECK lamp (green lamp) will light while pressing 

the BATTERY CHECK button.

 If the BATTERY CHECK lamp starts to blink, 

the battery does not have a sufficient charge. It is 

recommended that you change the battery. If the 

BATTERY CHECK lamp does not light or blink, the 

battery must be replaced.

 Using this unit

This unit can be used by attaching it to the flash with sync 

cord using the following operations. This unit is designed 

for use with flash units having a voltage of 60 V or less. 

The sync terminal is compatible with both center positive 

(normal polarity) and center negative (positive polarity) 

flash units.

When using the flash with this unit, set the camera as 

following.

  Set the exposure mode to M mode.

  Set the shutter speed equal to whichever is slower: 1/125 

second or a recommended preset level, or to a slower 

speed.

  When using the custom white balance, set the shutter 

speed and aperture to the required exposure and use 

a gray card for calibration. If you use a white card, 

the light level will exceed the measurable light level. 

“Custom WB error” will appear on the LCD screen of 

the camera. If this message appears, it means that there 

is unexpected value (when flashing close to the object or 

exposing to a colorful object). It is recommended that 

you set the white balance again to get a more correct 

white balance value. For details, refer to the operating 

instructions of the digital single lens reflex camera.

  Flash metering correction is unavailable.

 Slide the mounting foot of this unit firmly until it 

clicks.

 When connecting the sync cord to this unit, turn off 

the power to the flash that is connected to the sync 

cord. The flash unit may flash if the camera is turned 

on while the sync cord is plugged into the sync 

terminal.

 Sync flash photography using an external flash is 

available.

 Flash units with a low trigger voltage may not work.

 Regardless of whether there was a flash, battery power 

is depleted by pressing the shutter button.

 Changing the batteries

Use a button type 3V lithium battery (CR1220) with this 

unit.

 Turn off the power of this unit when replacing the 

battery.

 Do not insert your fingernail because you can be 

injured.

 Do not insert an object that it is thicker than the 

space because you can damage the unit.

 Do not apply excessive force to the terminal in the 

battery-chamber by inserting anything.

 Be careful not to pop out the battery when removing 

it.
