You can also use the INPUT SELECTOR 
on the receiver to select “DMPORT”.

The sound is played back on the receiver.
For details, refer the operating 
instructions supplied with the DIGITAL 
MEDIA PORT adapter.

Depending on the type of DIGITAL MEDIA PORT 
adapter, you can operate the connected component 
by using the remote. For details on remote button 
operation, see page 9. 

When listening to MP3 or other compressed music 
using a portable audio source, you can enchance the 
sound. Press MUSIC repeatedly to select 
“PORTABLE” (page 36).

You can enter a name of up to 8 characters for 
inputs and display it on the receiver’s display.
This is convenient for labeling the jacks with 
the names of the connected components. 

You can also use INPUT SELECTOR on 
the receiver.

“1-LEVEL” appears on the display.
