• With Mac OS X, format floppy disks with

the “Erase” command of the Disk Utility
and select the “Mac OS Standard” format.

• Mac OS X cannot format unformatted

floppy disks.

Mac OS 8.6 needs USB Mass Storage

Disk Drive.
