help you reinstall individual applications and device drivers manually.

Perform an Application Recovery to:

Reinstall an individual driver if a device is not functioning properly.

Reinstall an individual application if you have problems running it.

Perform a System Recovery in the following cases:

In the event of a serious system crash.

If you want to modify the size of the hard drive partitions.

You can only use the product recovery disc(s) on the Sony computer it came with and not on any other Sony PC or other manufacturer's PC.
