Select Standard and click Next.

Software installation begins and the Setup
Complete dialog box appears a while.

Click Finish.

The Confirmation Items dialog box appears.

Confirm the information and click OK.

Installation is complete and your computer
restarts.

Proceed to the next section, Setting up the connection
environment on page 44, for instructions how to
establish connection between the computer and the
Access Point.

When you restart your computer after installing the
software, a registration icon will appear on the
desktop. Connect to the Internet using your Internet
Service Provider. Double-click the registration icon to
register the products. For details on customer
registration, refer to the supplied Customer
Registration for the Wireless LAN Access Point/
Wireless LAN PC Card.

Caution
To protect your personal data, Sony uses SSL (an encryption
protocol) for communication between your browser and the
Sony WWW server. If you are accessing the Internet from
inside of an enterprise LAN, you may not be able to use SSL
due to the proxy server of the LAN. Contact your network
administrator in this situation.

You can uninstall a specific software application or
add one later on.

Display the Wireless LAN Utility Setup dialog box.

See steps 1 though 3 on page 40 for details.

Select Modify and click Next.

The Select Components dialog box appears.
