Countermeasure for XM radio malfunction.

 

 

 

  Sometimes equipment does not receive XM radio properly with the 

CNP-1000 type XM Antenna.  Malfunction: no indication of the station name, no 
output and no channel selectable when using XM radio.   

 
 
Solution:  

Please install the Exclusive Writer Software to a PC and rewrite 

your customer's unit upon claim of XM radio malfunction. 

 
• Install Software of the Exclusive Writer Software to be installed to the PC. 
For AVR-2307CI: "FWCV_AVR2307_V0028_SETUP.exe"  
For AVR-887:  "FWCV_AVR887_V0028_SETUP.exe" 
• The Exclusive Writer Software: (After the installation, a short cut of the following 
Exclusive Writer Software is created on the Desk-top of the PC.) 
• To confirm the Version after the update, please refer to the following: 
For AVR-2307CI:  "2307_0028_VERS_CHECK.pdf"  
For AVR-887:  "887_0028_VERS_CHECK.pdf" 
• The Exclusive Jig (JIG-232C (887)) for the AVR-887.
