Subject:
Countermeasure for malfunctions that occur when operations are
performed during playback of particular CD/DVD/SACD Video Discs.
Symptom:
Regarding CD/DVD/SACD media in the market, rarely, there are
discs whose centroid (center of gravity) is one-sided greatly, and there is a case
that the unit generates mechanical or vibration noise when reproducing these
particular discs. We will reduce the rotation speed of the disc as follows to
suppress the noise:

Solution:
MODIFICATION: (Upon refurbishment of the unit and/or claim) Please record the
file on a blank CD-R separately and individually, and update the firmware in the
Back-end on your customer's unit upon refurbishment of the unit and/or claim.
Caution:
• When recording the file(s) on a blank CD-R, the format shall be "ISO9660" and
the session shall be "CLOSE".
• When recording the program file on the CD-R, please record it at the 4-times
speed of the normal speed.
• When the 4-times speed is not available, please record it at the minimum speed
that is available in your machine.
