Subject:
Countermeasure for improving malfunction upon playing back
particular CD-DA discs.
Symptom:
Noise may occur during "No sound parts" (between song and
song.), due to a malfunction of the "Zero Muting circuit".
Here are some CD-DA discs the problem was confirmed on:
1) Ribbon Jessica (PCCA-00288): Japanese Pops
2) CoCo No.1 (PCCA-00287): Japanese Pops
Here are some CD-DA discs the problem was confirmed on:
1) Ribbon Jessica (PCCA-00288): Japanese Pops
2) CoCo No.1 (PCCA-00287): Japanese Pops
Solution:
Remove the following transistors: TR403, 503.
Please remove the listed transistors from the customer's unit upon claim of noise.
