 Loud crackling noise on both analogue and digital sound output 

during CD playback when HDMI connection to TV set is switched off (on TV input 
selector) or TV set is turned off during this playback. 
 

 
Solution:  

The firmware has been corrected.

MODIFICATION:  Update the Back-end firmware. Record the Folder (including 
the file) onto a blank CD-R, and update the firmware in the Back-end of your 
customer's unit (upon claim). 

 

 
1) Preparation of the CD-R for rewriting.  
(1) Create the following folder on your PC and store the supplied program file into 
the folder.  
• DVD_3930¥ D393SAVD.ROM (The firmware for DVD-3930.)  
 
(2) Record the created folder on a blank CD-R and create the Disc for rewriting. 

Note: Upon recording the Disc:  
• When recording the supplied file on the blank CD-R, the format shall be 
"ISO9660" and the session shall be "CLOSE".
