Participating in a conversation
Join or start a session by pressing
Write
.
Tip: If you receive a new message during a conversation from a person that
is not within the active conversation, the indicator
is not within the active conversation, the indicator
is shown on the
top of the display and a alarm tone is played.
Write your message and press
Send
or
to send it. If you press
Options
, some of
the following options are available:

View conversation
to view the ongoing conversation. To save the conversation,
press

and enter a name for the conversation.

to view the members of the selected private group. The option
is only shown if you have created the group.

to end the ongoing conversation.

Editing your own settings
Enter the
Instant messages
menu and connect to the service. Select
My settings
to
view and edit your own availability information or screen name. Select
Availability
and
Available for all
or
Avail. for contacts
(or
Appear offline
) to allow all the other
users or only the contacts on your contact list to see that you are online when you
have connected to the service. When you are connected to the service,
have connected to the service. When you are connected to the service,
indicates that you are online and
that you are not visible to others.
