Dial Lock
The Dial Lock feature allows you to 
prevent others from making calls. To 
use this, set the feature to ON. Your 
phone default setting is OFF.
To set the dial lock

Press .

” flashes on the display.

Enter the password (p. 41).

Press {OK} (Save key).
• A long beep sounds and “
” 
displays.
• If the wrong password was entered, 
3 beeps will sound. Enter the 
correct password.
To cancel the dial lock
Follow above steps 1 through 3. In 
step 3, “
” will disappear.
Before using the Dial Lock or Call 
Restriction feature (p. 43), we 
recommend storing emergency 
numbers in the memory of Direct Dial 
buttons (p. 36) and Phonebook (p. 31) 
as emergency numbers (#). Even if 
the dialling buttons are locked, the 
numbers stored in these buttons can 
be dialled.
If the dial buttons are pressed before/after 
lifting the handset or pressing

• Dialling a number you programmed into 
the memory of Direct Dial buttons (p. 36) 
and emergency numbers (#) (p. 28)
• Selecting the ringer volume (p. 15)
• Adjusting the handset, speakerphone 
and headset volume (p. 22, 55)
• Putting a call on hold (p. 23)
• Muting the conversation (p. 38)
• Answering the second call by pressing 
{R} (p. 39) 
• Programming (except storing/editing 
the Direct Dial memory and emergency 
numbers (#))
• Finding an item in the following lists

Caller list (p. 25)
— 
Redial list (p. 22)
— 
Phonebook (p. 33)
