You can record to a tape deck connected to TAPE REC (OUT), a
MD deck or CD recorder connected to MD/CD-R/RW REC (OUT), a
VCR connected to VCR 1 OUT, a DVD recorder/VCR connected to
DVR/VCR 2 OUT, or digital recording equipment connected to
DIGITAL OPTICAL OUT.
See the recording unit’s operating instructions for details on how to
prepare it for recording.

be recorded.

Follow your equipment’s operating instructions.

With a tape deck, you can record any analogue source except
TAPE.
¡
With a MD deck or CD recorder, you can record any analogue
source except TAPE and MD/CD-R/RW.
¡
With a VCR (connected VCR 1), you can record any analogue
source except TAPE and VCR 1.
¡
With a DVD recorder/VCR (connected DVR/VCR2), you can
record any analogue source except TAPE and DVR/VCR2.
¡
With digital recording equipment, you can record any digital
source without copy protection.
¡
When you select DVD 6CH INPUT mode, only sound from the
front left and right channels is recorded.
¡
Some sources do not allow digital recording. Connect through the
analogue terminals and select “ANALOG” input.

The SLEEP timer can turn the unit off after a set time and the
WAKE timer can turn it on. You can use only one timer at a time.
They do not control any other components.

“TIMER” is shown in the display.

To change the setting 
Repeat the procedure from the beginning.
