≥Discs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press [∫] 
when you finish to preserve the unit’s motor and your television 
screen.
≥Total title number may not be displayed properly on iR/iRW.

Start play.
≥The tray is closed automatically and play starts.
≥The disc indicators show which tray is in the play position.
When the disc finishes playing:
If the next disc doesn’t start playing, select it with the disc buttons.
≥You can also select the disc using the remote control (
➜ page 12, Disc information).

Open the drawer and place the disc.
≥Load double-sided discs so the label for the side you want to play is facing up.
≥[RAM] Remove the disc from its cartridge before use.
 
To load discs on the other trays:
Press a disc button and then press [
< OPEN/CLOSE].
≥You can load up to 5 discs (one per tray).
Do not pull or push the tray with your hand.

Press to skip.
Press and hold to

≥Press [1] (play) to start normal play.

Checking the 
disc trays
The disc trays are opened in a 
successive stack so that you 
can check what disc is in each 
tray.
≥If the player is stopped, all 
trays will open.
≥If a disc is being played, the 
corresponding tray will not 
open.
Do not remove or insert discs 
during a disc check.
≥Press [DISC CHECK] again to 
close all trays.

Changing the 
other discs 
without 
interrupting 
play
The drawer remains closed until 
you press a disc button.
Press a disc button to open the 
corresponding tray.
≥If you select a disc which is 
being played, play stops.
Exchange the disc.
Close the drawer.
≥Repeat these steps to change 
the other discs.
