tion’s mode (set in System Configuration Table):

Cashier/Bar Mode Workstations - All checks are

started with a START CHECK type key. The

system assigns a table number for tracking the

check.

§

Restaurant Mode Workstations - Checks can be

started by a user assigned table number

(1-999). They can also be started with a START

CHECK type key.

q Touchscreen Option - Terminal Type for Quick Serv

This option is set within the Touchscreen Settings selec-

tion on each individual workstation.

•

Applies when checks are started with a START

CHECK type key, and order entry is finalized with a

{PAY} key.

•

If NO, the display returns to the Server Screen after

each check clears the screen.

•

If YES, the display remains in the Order Entry

Screen; a new check is started by entering the first

item.

q Printing Options

How a check is started affects printing:

•

{NO~TAB} - check will not print at all unless it is sent

then recalled. “Stub” receipt will print if POS Option

#60, Start No Check Prints Stub Receipt, is set to

YES.

•

{START~CHECK} automatically prints a “stub” receipt if

order entry is ended with {SEND}.

q Guest Count Option

•

POS Option #26, Prompt for Guest Count, deter-

mines if checks started on Cashier/Bar workstations

require a guest count entry or if a default will be

used.

•

POS Option #78, Max Guest Count w/o Validation,

can be set to require a server to reenter a guest

count if it is higher than a certain amount.
