Adjusting picture settings
This unit comes with three predefined sets of 
picture color settings and one personal setting 
that you can define yourself.

In “VIDEO SETUP PAGE”, press 
5/a to 
highlight [PICTURE SETTING], and then 
press

STANDARD
Select this for the standard picture setting.
BRIGHT
Select this to make the TV picture brighter.
SOFT
Select this to make the TV picture softer.
PERSONAL
Select this to personalize your picture color by 
adjusting the brightness, contrast, tint and 
color (saturation).

5/a  to select a setting, and then 
press ENTER.

If you select [PERSONAL] in step 1
proceed to steps 4-7.
➜ The “PERSONAL PICTURE SETUP” 
menu appears.

Press 
5/a  to select one of the following 
options.
BRIGHTNESS
Increase or decrease the value to brighten or 
dim the picture. Zero (0) is the average 
brightness setting value.
CONTRAST
Increase or decrease the value to sharpen or 
dull the picture. Zero (0) is the average contrast 
setting value.
TINT
Increase or decrease the value to darken or 
lighten the picture. Zero (0) is the average tint 
setting value.
COLOR
Increase or decrease the value to enhance or 
fade the picture. Zero (0) is the average color 
setting value.

Press 
2 / 3 to adjust the setting that best 
suits your personal preference.

Repeat steps 4-5
 
to adjust other color 
features.

Press ENTER.
All picture settings are not available for HDMI 
output.
Turning the black level on/off
If [TV TYPE] is set to [NTSC] (see page 13)
set the black level to on to improve the color 
contrast during playback. The black level 
setting has no effect if [TV TYPE] is set to 
[PAL].

Select this to enhance the black level.

Select this for the standard black level setting.
