Direct Load and Save Operations
Loading and saving of songs can also be done directly from
within the Song, Pattern, or Phrase mode, without having to
enter the Disk mode.  The Load and Save operations are
contained in the main display of each mode, and are called
up by pressing 
& and *, respectively.  The type of
data loaded or saved corresponds to the current mode.
PATTERN
Single style (001 — 100).  When saving you
can specify the number of the style to be
saved and the file name under which it will be
saved to disk.  When loading you specify the
style file to be loaded and the style number to
which it is to be loaded.
PHRASE
Single user phrases (001 — 100).  When
saving you can specify the number of the
phrase to be saved and the file name under
which it will be saved to disk.  When loading
you specify the phrase file to be loaded and
the phrase number to which it is to be loaded.

SONG
Single songs (01 — 10).  When saving you
can specify the song number to be saved and
the file name under which it will be saved on
disk.  When loading you specify the song file
to be loaded and the song number to which it
is to be loaded.

Enter the appropriate mode — Song, Pattern or
Phrase — by pressing the corresponding MODE
button.
2.
Press 
& to call up the Load operation.
3.
Select the specific data you wish to load.
Do this by highlighting the desired number/title in the
left (source data) box, or select the number of the data
directly.
4.
Select the destination location (right box).
Highlight the destination location, and use the data entry
controls to change the destination number.
5.
Press 
E.
If the destination location already contains data, a
“Delete Old Data?” prompt appears in the display.
Answer the prompt by pressing the 
I button to go
ahead with the Load operation, or pressing 
D to
cancel.
After the operation is completed, press 
) to return
to the previous mode display, or press any of the
MODE buttons.
NOTE: You can use the 
)
 button to leave the Load
display at any time except while the operation is actually in
progress.
