INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please study these instructions carefully before installing your new Edelbrock Cat-Back Exhaust System. If you have any

Suggested Tools for Installation:
❑ 3/8" ratchet and metric sockets
❑ 9/16” and 15mm Wrench
❑ Jack and jackstands
❑ Liquid penetrant and rubber lubricant
DISASSEMBLY
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove the V-clamp behind the muffler and remove
the rear portion of the exhaust.
3. Unbolt the two flanges on the inlet pipes and remove
the muffler section of the exhaust. NOTE: You will
need to re-use the original gaskets and bolts on new
system.
ASSEMBLY
1. Using the original gaskets and bolts, install new inlet
pipes and place hangers in the rubber isolators. Left
inlet pipe #25-3287, right inlet pipe #25-3288.
2. Slip muffler onto the inlet pipes using two 2-1/2”
band clamps. NOTE: Inlet end of muffler is marked.
Snug the clamps so you can adjust system later.
3. Install overaxle pipe #25-3289 using a 3” band
clamp and placing the hangers in the rubber
siolators. snug the clamp so you can adjust system
later.
4. Install polished tailpipe #25-3157 using a 3” band
clamp. Snug the clamp so you can adjust system
later.
WARNING!!!
Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, a deadly invisible gas. 
Correct any leaks before driving!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer.  Improper installation will void warranty and may
result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.

Installation Kit
5. Working from the front of the ysstem to the rear,
adjust, align, and tighten all the band clamps. Give
adequate clearance for fuel lines, brake lines,
electrical wiring, and the spare tire.
