Suggested Tools for Installation:
❑ 3/8” rachet set and 15mm socket
❑ 9/16” and 15mm wrenches
❑ Jackstands
❑ Liquid penetrant
Disassembly
1. Raise vehicle and support with the proper jackstands,
leaving the rear suspension hanging.
2. Use caution around hot exhaust systems to avoid
burns.
3. Use penetrating oil on all nuts, bolts and rubber
hangers.
4. If you are using a lift or jackstands, the old system can
be removed in one piece by removing the lower shock
bolts and the upper arm bolts to let the rear end hang
down as far as possible.
Remove the nuts to the
catalytic converter pipes and remove the old muffler
assembly.
5. If you do not have access to a lift, it will be necessary
to cut off the tail pipes behind the mufflers, then
remove old mufflers.

WARNING: Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, a deadly invisible gas.  Correct any leaks before driving!
Assembly
1. Install the left and right muffler assembly to the
catalytic pipes. Refer to parts list to identify left and
right muffler. Using O.E.M. nuts, snug mufflers only
hand tight at this time.
2. Install the 2-1/2” band clamps onto the mufler outlets.
Install the tail pipes into the mufflers, and the brackets
into the stock rubber isolators.
3. Align the system to clear the chassis and suspension
and tighten all fasteners. It is important to tighten
catalytic pipe flanges evenly for proper leak free seal.
Check and correct, if needed. NOTE: Bumper height
may vary by as much as 1/2” on different vehicles, so
you may need to bend the rear hangers to adjust for
your application.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer.  Improper installation will void warranty and may
result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.
