Cl Never use a stand that tilts the printer. It should always be

kept level.

Cl Place cables so they do not interfere with paper feeding;

secure them to a leg of the stand if possible.

1. Make sure that the power switch is turned off. It is off when

the “G” side of the switch is pressed down.

2. Check the label on the back of the printer to make sure the

voltage required by the printer matches that of your

electrical outlet. Also, make sure that you have the correct

power cable for your power source.

3. If the power cord is not attached to the printer, connect it to

the AC inlet on the back of the printer.

4. Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical

outlet.
