To clear the content of your phonebook at once, press

Phonebook settings, Reset phonebook

phonebook content.

This option only applies to the phonebook in your phone, not to the SIM
phonebook (see “Phonebooks” page 36).

If you don’t want your phone to ring when you receive a call, you can deactivate
the ringer. In this case, the incoming call symbol flashes when you receive a call,
the display shows

, but the phone doesn’t ring. To deactivate the

ringer, proceed as follows:

Ringer volume

Press left until the volume is set to

Silence

Silent mode can also be set by selecting

Quick Settings

Silence

. In this case,

the vibra alert is also activated. For faster access, you can assign a hotkey to this
function.

If you have set the function, your phone vibrates when receiving an incoming
call (activating the silent mode via the

Silence

Quicksetting as described above

will also activate the vibra alert). Otherwise, proceed as follows:

In idle screen, press

Move left or right to select

and press

to confirm.

Activating the vibra doesn’t mute the ringer. If you want to mute it and keep the
vibra function on, activate the

Silence

mode as described above.

To read your own mobile phone number, press

when in idle mode and

again. Your

phone number is displayed if present on your SIM card. If not, select

follow the instructions.

If your own number has been stored in the Phonebook, you can read it during a
call. See “Consulting the phonebook” page 18.
