CHANGING THE SETTINGS OF YOUR RECEIVER 19
5.2.3.2 VCR
This item is used to select the format of the
output signal for the VCR SCART socket.
- Scroll to the setting you want to change.
The corresponding values are displayed on the
right-hand side of the screen.
- Press the 
i
button to access the available
values:
• Video Output: CVBS-PAL, or Y/C. CVBS-
PAL is the default and recommended
setting.
• Easy Record: select the control method
that suits your VCR. Refer to your VCR
user manual.
5.2.3.3 Digital audio output
Select AC3 (digital audio 5.1) only if your
receiver is connected to a Dolby Digital home
entertainment system. For recordings, AC3 will
be switched off automatically.
5.2.3.4 Channel Banner
This item is used to select the channel banner
display duration and transparency.
- Scroll to the setting you want to change.
The corresponding values are displayed on
the right-hand side of the screen.
- Press the

button to access the available
values.
5.2.3.5 Volume
This item is used to select the volume level at
start-up.
- Press the 
i
button to change the level
setting.
- Press 
t
or 
y
to modify the volume level.
- Press <OK> to confirm.
5.2.3.6 Remote Control
This item is used to set the remote control
address.
- Press the 
i
button to access the available
values.
- Move to the address you want to select.
Default address is 039.
- Press <OK> to confirm your selection.
- Proceed as described in paragraph 7.1.
If you do not complete the procedure
as described in paragraph 7.1, you will
not be able to control your receiver
using your remote control.
