Life time of (replacement) filters
The effectiveness of the Air Cleaners is mainly
dependent on the condition of the filtrete filter and
the active carbon filter. After a period of time,
these two filters will become saturated.
How long it takes before these filters become full
depends on these factors:
- How many hours per day the Air Cleaner
actually is used;
- How much air pollution there is outside the
house;
- How much air pollution there is inside the
house.
With normal use (between 6-8 hours per day) and
not excessively contaminated environment, the
filters will last about three months.
As indicated before, the life time of the filter in a
very smoky environment will be much shorter.
