You can hide chapters (e. g. commercials) during playback
and make them visible again.

For DVD+R discs, this function will only work when the
disc is played on this DVD recorder system. When the
DVD+R disc is played on a standard DVD player, hidden
chapter markers will still be shown.

For DVD+RW discs, the edits must be made compatible
for the function to work on a standard DVD player. See
chapter “Making edits compatible”.

As soon as the desired chapter to be hidden is played,
press EDIT on the remote control.

The menu Favorite Scene Selection appears.

Press 

4 on the remote control as often as necessary to

select the line Current chapter.

Press 

2 on the remote control to select Hidden.

The picture is shown darker.

Press EDIT on the remote control to end.

The selected chapter will be skipped from now on
during playback.

To make the hidden chapter visible again repeat steps 1–2.
Press 

2 on the remote control to select Visible or to

quickly switch between Hidden and Visible press
SELECT on the remote control.

To select other chapters press T/C on the remote control.

The system menu bar appears.

Use 

1 or 2 on the remote control to select title B or

chapter C.

Press 

4 or 3 on the remote control as often as necessary

until the desired title/chapter number is selected.

Playing the entire title including hidden chapters
If you have hidden certain chapters of a title, this feature
enables you to watch the entire title including the hidden
chapters.

Press STOPÇ when playback is stopped or press
DISC MENU on the remote control during playback.

Press 

4 or 3 on the remote control as often as necessary

to select the desired title for entire playback.

Press 

2 on the remote control to confirm the selection.

The editing menu appears.

4 or 3 on the remote control as often as necessary

to select the line Play full title.

Press OK on the remote control to confirm.

Playback of the entire title starts automatically.
