VIEWING A REMOTE PC (WORKSTATION)
NOTE:  To connect to a workstation remotely, a remote desktop server must be running on the workstation you are connecting to. Refer to Remote
Desktop Servers
for instructions on running a remote desktop server.
Connecting to a workstation remotely enables you to do anything you could do if you were connected directly, such as run programs or edit files.
NOTE:  Controlling a workstation remotely interferes with local control of the workstation. Do not control a workstation remotely when someone
is using the workstation.
In order to view a remote workstation (PC) in a custom window the following conditions must apply:
You must belong to, and be logged in under, a user group that permits you to view remote PCs in custom windows. Refer to User Groups for
more information.
The workspace must have Remote PC Windows selected as permitted content. If you have permission to work with workspaces, you can
edit the workspace and set the types of permitted content. Refer to Workspaces for more information.
TIP:  An administrator can configure a VMX300(-E) server remotely from a client by having a remote desktop server running on the server PC.
