Video Connection Options
The DCT3080 offers the following video outputs:
Standard
Composite video, S-Video, or RF coaxial
To determine the available inputs on your TV, check the manual supplied
with the TV or the TV itself.
Use the following guidelines to determine the best video connection for
your home entertainment system:
•
S-Video – standard definition only
If your TV has an S-Video input, use S-Video. S-Video is the
highest quality standard-definition video output on the DCT3080.
•
Composite
 video – standard definition only
If your TV does not have an S-Video input, use the composite
video (
VIDEO
) output.
•
RF coaxial – standard definition only
If your TV only has a coaxial RF input, connect it to the DCT3080
RF

OUT
 connector.
Important Safety Considerations

Follow these important safety guidelines when positioning and
connecting your cable terminal:
•
Do not block the slots and openings
•
Do not place anything on top of the cable terminal
•
Do not position the cable terminal in an enclosed space that would
restrict airflow around the unit
