FEATURES
Multi Band Tuning - receives FM/MW/LW and SW1-6 stations.
Built-In Power Generator (Dynamo) - you can "crank up" the radio and
listen to it under emergency conditions when no power is available.
Rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride Battery Pack (Included)
- provides reliable, renewable, internal power for everyday use.
45mm Diameter Speaker  - provides clear audio in a compact radio.
Emergency Alarm - produces a loud, high-pitched beep you can use as
an emergency signal.
Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) - provides drift-free FM reception
with reduced sound distortion.
Display Light -lets you see the dial scale in low light situation.
Multiple Power Options - lets you power your radio from internal
replaceable batteries (not supplied), a supplied rechargeable battery
pack powered by dynamo. Mains adaptor (not supplied).
Telescopic Aerial - provides the best radio signal for FM/SW. A built-in
MW/LW aerial provides quality reception, rotate radio for best
reception.
Important:  This radio uses nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries.
At the end of a nickel-metal hydride batterys useful life, it must be
recycled or disposed of properly. The battery may be recharged up to
1000 times before needing to be replaced. Replacement rechargeable
Ni-MH batteries may be purchased from our spares helpline

CONNECTING POWER
You can power your radio from any of these sources.

Internal AA batteries (not supplied)
·
Built-in power generator (dynamo crank handle) charges the
internal Ni-MH rechargeable battery pack (supplied)
The supplied Ni-MH battery is installed but not connected. Insert
the battery pack plug into the two pin battery pack socket. Replace
the compartment cover.
Using AA Batteries
Your radio can use two AA batteries
(not supplied) for power.
Caution:

Use only fresh batteries of the required
size and recommended type.
·
Do not mix old and new batteries or
different types of batteries
(standard, alkaline, or rechargeable).
Follow these steps to install batteries:

Remove the battery compartment cover by pushing in the
two tabs then pulling the cover in the direction of the arrow marked
on the cover.

Place the AA batteries into the compartment as
indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.

Replace the cover.

Set DYNAMO/BATTERY to BATT.

When the radio does not operate properly or the sound weakens,
replace the AA batteries.
If the unit is not to be used for a prolonged period,
remove the batteries to avoid leakage.
In the interests of environmental safety : dispose of
batteries safely.

IMPORTANT
Not all the frequencies will be audible in all parts of Europe, the listener should
try each frequency in turn as some are not used all the time and can change
according to atmospheric conditions or because of interference.
