CORTECH DEVELOPMENTS LTD
Time Zones
A time zone is an event timer that can be used to cause certain functions to occur automatically on
selected days.
The timer allows one ‘on’ time period during selected days from Monday to Sunday.
The standard uses for this timer are:
1.  To inhibit groups of zones for a period during the day. i.e. Passive Infra-red sensors during
working hours.
2.  To switch relays on for a period during the day. i.e. to unlock a gate during working hours.
Additionally Cortech Developments could write a custom function to assign to the time zone to meet
specific requirements.
When a new time zone is added, the operator can be given a description that reflects its use.
Datalog 3 can store up to 64 time zones.
