During standby mode,

. Press and hold  #  key to lock the keypad. 

. To release keypad lock, press and hold  #  key 

for 3 seconds. 

: When the keypad is lock, 

 key and  INT  key can be used to answer an 

external or intercom call.

Before you can use new handsets. You need to 

. Charge the batteries (for 15 hours).

. Register the handset (to the base unit).

Each handset can register to four base at a time. Each base can register up to 4
handsets.

During standby mode,

. Press

 key.

. Press

 or 

 key to select “REGISTER”

from the display.

. Press

 key. The display on the right is shown.

. Press the numeric keys to enter the base number.

. Press

 key to confirm.

. Press and hold 

 key. The base is now in the registration mode.

. Press the numeric keys to enter the default PIN (0000).

. Press

 key to confirm and return to standby mode.

If the base is full and cannot add any more handsets, you will hear a tone. 
See the next section to remove a handset.
