• Attach Wind Speed Indicator flap to weather meter.

• Select site where wind can reach the meter.

• use enclosed screws to install meter.

• Make sure meter swings freely and is at eye level.

• Empty rainfall tube after each rain and record the 

amount on sliding rain gauge

• Turn rainfall tube upside down during freezing 

weather to prevent braking

Any Chaney instrument which proves to be defec-

tive in material or workmanship within one year of original purchase will be repaired

or replaced. This warranty does not cover damage in shipment or failure caused by

tampering, carelessness or abuse.
