6.3   Problems with the LAN Interface

PROBLEM
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check the LAN LEDs on the front panel.  The LEDs should be on
for a port that has a station connected.  If it is off, check the cables
between your Prestige and the station.
I cannot ping any computer on the
LAN.
Verify that the IP address and the subnet mask are consistent
between the Prestige and the computers.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify the line status.
Verify your login name and password for the remote node.
I cannot connect to a remote node
or ISP.
In the Web Configurator, click the Maintenance link, the General tab
and then click the Reset System button to reset the Prestige. A
warning dialog box is then displayed asking if you're sure you want
to restart the system. Click OK to proceed.
