2. Initial Copier Settings

To give priority to a different tray than tray 1, press the
corresponding key (depending on how the finisher

 is equipped,
two to four trays are displayed). Select one of the output modes
for the initial copier setting: GROUP, STAPLE, SORT.
As the default setting, none of the output modes is active.
If another stapling position from the one displayed in the
STAPLE key should have priority, press STAPLE SET and make a
selection. This does not yet select the STAPLE mode for the
initial copier setting.
If the unit is not equipped with a finisher

, the screen on the left
is displayed.
2.5 Output
Important!
In these displays, the Automatic Rotation can also be
deactivated. As default setting, this function is active.
Copier with Finisher
Copier with Inner Tray
Select one of the two available functions to erase the area
outside the original:
Oblique erase – erasure exactly along the contours of the original.
Rectangular erase – erasure along straight lines with right angles.
For an optimum copy effect, the original density level can also be
determined in this screen. Auto is the default setting.
