Enter the IP address assigned to the KN-304 in [Name or Address of Server providing lpd] of the [Add
LPR-compatible Printer] dialogue box.
Enter “Port 1” for the [Server Printer Name or Printer Cue Name] and then click on the [OK] button.
Close the [Printer Port] dialogue box.
When the [Next] button of the [Add Printer Wizard] is clicked, the program proceeds to installation
of the printer driver.  A menu appears for selecting the printer manufacturer and model.
Insert the CD-ROM containing the printer driver into the CD-ROM drive and click on the [Have
Disk] button.  The [Install from Disk] dialogue box is displayed.
Designate the CD-ROM drive for the [Copy manufacturer’s files from] and then click on the [Browse]
button.
Open the [Ntnozomi] folder in the [Locate File] dialogue box and then click on the [Open] button.
Select [oemsetup] and then click on the [Open] button.
Click on the [OK] button of the [Install from Disk] dialogue box.
Click on the [Next] button of the [Add Printer Wizard].
Enter the [Printer Name] as necessary and then click on the [Next] button.
Select whether or not this printer is to be shared with other computers on a network.  Enter an
appropriate sharing name if it is to be shared.
Since the program will then ask, “Print Test Page?”, select [Yes] if desiring to print out a test page or
[No] if not desiring to print out a test page, and then click on the [Finish] button.  The printer driver
is copied and the printer is added.  A test page is printed out corresponding to the setting.
In the case of a setting up a printer connected with Microsoft TCP/IP Printing Service as a shared printer,
Windows-compatible computers set by Microsoft network clients on the network can be connected to the printer
through the WindowsNT.
For each client computer, install a printer driver corresponding to the OS by using the printer driver CD-ROM.
