This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any AC
electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other
electrical outlet.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of use, you may notice smoke and a slight
odor, as well as a humming noise. This is normal and will quickly
disappear.
WARNING: This multiple temperature curling iron has been specially
designed to curl very coarse, thick, hard-to-curl hair. Due to this special
application, the barrel of this curling iron will be hotter on the HI (13-15)
settings than regular dual-heat curling irons. Due to the extreme heat
capabilities of this iron, the barrel will be very hot in the HI (13-15)
settings, so extra care should be taken when using.
• Keep unit away from contact with all skin areas. Do not touch iron

barrel with fingertips.

• For shorter hair, place a thin plastic comb between scalp and curling 

iron barrel to avoid touching scalp.

• Place fingers of free hand on safety tip when more control is needed 

for curling.

cuidado cuando se esté usando.
• Evite el contacto de la unidad con su piel. No toque la barra de la 

tenaza con los dedos.

• Para cabellos más cortos, coloque un peine delgado de plástico entre 

la tenaza y el cuero cabelludo para evitar tocar este último.

• Coloque los dedos de la mano libre en la punta protectora cuando sea 

necesario más control para el rizado.

• Haga una prueba en una pequeña sección del cabello para determinar 

la temperatura correcta para el tipo de su cabello.

SPECIAL FEATURE: This iron features solid-state electronic circuitry with
a heat sensor that detects temperature loss and quickly boosts the
power to bring the heat level back to optimum styling temperature. This
allows you to style in half the time it takes with an ordinary iron.
TO USE: For a complete styling, hair should be clean, dry and free from
dirt, hair spray, creams, etc. (This iron can also be used for quick 
touch-ups any time.)
PRE-HEAT: Rest the iron on its built-in safety stand on a smooth, flat
surface, and plug in. Turn on, set the heat control at the desired position,
and allow iron to heat.
FOR FAST HEAT-UP, turn heat control dial to HI (13-15) settings. It will
take about 60 seconds to heat up; to reach optimum temperature, allow
iron to heat for 90 seconds. Then, select a temperature according to the
type of hair.
TEST A SMALL SECTION OF HAIR BEFORE USING; THEN ADJUST
TEMPERATURE ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS.
HEAT SETTINGS:
HI (13-15): These settings are very hot. Use only if hair is very coarse and
highly resistant, but in good condition.
MED/HI (10-12): Use heat settings in this range for dense, hard-to-curl
hair in good condition.
MEDIUM (7-9): Use heat settings in this range for thick, wavy hair in good
condition.
LO/MED (4-6): Use heat settings in this range for easy-to-curl, 
normal hair.
LO (1-3): Use LO heat setting for very fine, fragile, light-colored hair.

POSICIONES DE TEMPERATURAS:
ALTA (13-15): Estas temperaturas son muy caliente. Usela si el cabello es
muy grueso, abundante, resistente, pero en buenas condiciones.
MEDIANA /ALTA (10-12): Use las temperaturas en este orden para
cabellos abundantes, difíciles de rizar en buenas condiciones.
MEDIANA (7-9): Use las temperaturas en este orden para cabellos
gruesos, ondulados y en buenas condiciones.
BAJA/MEDIANA (4-6): Use las temperaturas en este orden para cabellos
fáciles de rizar, cabellos normales.
BAJA (1-3): Use las temperaturas Bajas para cabellos muy finos, frágiles
y de color claro.

This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified
service personnel if servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN: Unplug curling iron and allow to cool. Iron must be cleaned
only when cold. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the handle. Do not
allow water or any other liquid to go into handle of the iron.
TO STORE: Unplug appliance and let it cool; store in its box or in a clean,
dry place. Store the cord loosely coiled. Never wrap the cord around unit;
this could cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Do not put any
stress on cord where it enters the handle, as it could cause cord to fray
and possibly break. Never hang unit up by the power cord.

Este artefacto requiere un pequeño mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que
puedan ser reparadas. No trate de repararlo usted mismo. Si necesita

PARA LIMPIAR: Desenchufe su tenaza y déjela que enfríe. La tenaza
solamente debe limpiarse cuando esté fría. Use un paño suave,
ligeramente húmedo para limpiar el mango. No deje que penetre agua 
u otro líquido al mango de la tenaza.
PARA GUARDAR: Desconecte su artefacto, déjelo enfriar y guárdelo en su
misma caja o en un lugar seco y limpio. Enrolle el cable suavemente, sin
ajustarlo. Nunca lo envuelva ajustado alrededor de su unidad, esto podría
causar que se gaste prematuramente y rompa. No ponga presión al cable
donde éste entra al mango, ya que esto podría causar el desgaste del
cable y su posible rotura. Nunca cuelgue la unidad por el cable.
