18.1.3  SNMP EngineID    
The Engine ID is a unique identifier in SNMP environment. The switch automatically 
generates a unique Engine ID based on the MAC address of the switch. The Engine ID can 
also be changed. Use the SNMP EngineID screen to specify the Engine ID for the switch.
Click SNMP > EngineID in the navigation panel to view the screen as shown.

The following table describes the labels in this screen. 
18.2  SNMP Group 
SNMP groups are used to categorize SNMP managers with respect to access rights. Use the 
SNMP Group screen to create SNMP groups with different levels of access to the switch. 
Click SNMP > Group to view the screen as shown.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Engine ID
Select this radio button and enter a unique Engine ID for the switch. The format is 
limited to hexadecimal characters (0~9 and a~f) and the maximum length is 27 
octets (each octet is made up of a pair of hexadecimal characters).
Using Default
Select this radio button to use the default Engine ID (based on the MAC address of 
the switch) for SNMP.
Apply
Click this to save your changes to the switch.
