Cables have the job of transporting 
signals from Point A to Point B. Unfortu-
nately, they frequently pick up noise along 
the way. Unbalanced connections — as 
can be found on nearly all synthesizers, 
basses and guitars — are especially 
sensitive to interference from power 
cables, unlike the balanced signals from 
microphones. The result: unpleasant hum. 
The four-channel SINE DI 4 active direct-in 
box is the answer to this problem.  
 
Nomen est omen — "DI" stands for "direct 
inject", letting you connect unbalanced 
signal sources directly to the balanced 
microphone inputs of your mixer. The 
electrical isolation of input and output 
signals in the SINE DI 4 makes it possible.  

 
 
It also features ground-lift switches to kill 
hum caused by potential differences be-
