digital-arts--sciences imageaxs pro 4.1 for macintosh User Manual

Use the Source Files panel of the ImageAXS Preferences 
dialog box to select alternate editing applications for 
multimedia (image, movie, sound, or 3D) files.  These 
programs open when you choose Edit With Alternate from 
an ImageAXS contextual menu.

1.

Select the record(s) whose source file(s) you want to edit, 
then hold down the 

CTRL

 

key and click a selected record.

A contextual pop-up menu appears.

Choose Edit With Alternate from the contextual pop-up 
menu.

The source file for each record you selected will be opened 
in the alternate editing application you have chosen.

Moving source files adds them to the new location you 
choose, but removes them from their original location.

When you move source files, ImageAXS updates the 
respective data records so that the source files remain 
online.
