Use the Source Files panel of the ImageAXS Preferences 
dialog box to change options for acquiring source files.

1.

Select Preferences (!-Shift-P) from the Edit menu.

2.

Click the Source Files tab on the left side of the 
ImageAXS Preferences dialog box.
The Source Files panel of the ImageAXS Preferences 
dialog box appears.

(If the Source Files tab is pulled out past the others 
and the name is in boldface type, it is already 
selected.)

3.

In the Source Files panel of the ImageAXS Preferences 
dialog box, change acquiring options as follows:

•

(Professional version only)
To make data records only for image, movie/
animation, sound, and 3D files, click to put a check 
mark in the Acquire Only Multimedia Files checkbox.  
Leave this checkbox empty to acquire source files of 
all types.

•

(Professional version only)
To acquire invisible files, click to put a check mark 
in the Acquire Invisible Files checkbox.  Leave this 
checkbox empty to filter out invisible files.

•

To filter out duplicate files, click to put a check mark in 
the Don’t Acquire Duplicate Files checkbox.  Leave this 
checkbox empty to acquire files even if they are already 
in the collection.
